ADULTING || ISN'T THAT WHAT THEY CALL IT?
Ever since I moved to Charleston, I've been in the routine of waking up, having a cup of coffee in a cozy flat, then deciding which adult task I'm going to tackle before squeezing in a workout at my new gym and going into work to serve delish seafood to Charleston residents. I've been quite busy and my mornings before work have been completely packed. It does feel quite good to be so productive if I say so myself. If you know me, you'll know that I'm quite the adventurous type that never sits still. If I don't have much scheduled for the day, I'll plan as much as possible for myself so that I'm as productive as possible.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love being productive. I love getting things done, but I do apologize for the lack of lively, vibrant posts. Rest assured, I will be writing and editing those types of lovely posts to go live in the near future. I definitely enjoy informing you of what's going in my life, but I am excited to put my post ideas into writing and put them up on the blog for you soon! To be fair, since I got to Charleston, I haven't had time to do any exploring down Rainbow Row, downtown King Street, shopping, or any entertainment. Hopefully that'll change soon as all the administrative paperwork should be slowing down soon. I'm so excited to explore parts of Charleston that I've never ventured into before, as it's so lush to see the greenery bits and spring blossoms outside of the busy city that you don't typically get to see.

A few of the more adventurous things I've done since being in Charleston is visit the gorgeous beach at Sullivan's Island, shop around a tad in West Ashley, and order an entire take-out pizza all to myself (oops). As for the adult-y bits, I've opened a local bank account, explored and applied to an apartment complex (yay!), bought all of my own groceries and gas, applied to permanent jobs, bought work clothes, and of course, constantly go into work at least five times a week. That might not sound like a lot, but all the paperwork and details that go along with most of it is quite time consuming. I've found that each single tasks requires a morning each.

I've loved doing all the adulting tasks because that means each day I'm one step closer to getting an apartment with Sarah and moving in! We couldn't be more excited to have a place all to ourselves soon. We can't wait to decorate it and make it feel cozy, yet lively and homely. I can assure you, once she gets settled here, we will be exploring and adding adventurous posts to the blog in no time. Of course, I'll be adding adventurous posts in the meantime, but I feel like the posts will be even more lovely when Sarah gets here.

I do have a very exciting event to attend later this month, which will most definitely be accompanied by a blog post, so keep your eyes peeled! I can't wait to share all the exciting things Charleston has to offer with you in my upcoming posts.
