SUMMER WARDROBE ADDITIONS

Gone are the days when I spent my entire bank account on clothes. As you grow up, you learn that you have to save your money for an apartment/house and every bill that will come along with it. With that said, a girl can't wear the same clothes year after year after year because fashion changes so much. Even though I vowed to myself not to spend a dime of my paycheck this summer on clothes... obviously I broke that promise. But I picked out some less expensive items so I hopefully won't have total buyer's remorse looking at them in a few years. My all-time fashion inspo/icon is Kendall Jenner because DAMN that girl always wears the most on point outfits. So what I did was gather up my favorite looks she wore and searched around for cheaper versions (of course adding a few of my own favorites in there as well). The main reason I updated my wardrobe you ask? Because DUSTY PINKS are so in right now and I've been obsessed with dust pink shades for so long that it only felt fitting to pick up some dusty pink bits and pieces. Does the Mean Girls quote "On Wednesday's we wear pink" come to mind? After trying on the clothes, I feel like the dusty pink shade really does suit me and I'm not just saying that! I'm totally obsessed with blushed tones and I don't see that going away anytime soon. I feel as though these outfits are casual but can really be dressed up as well which makes me feel like I've totally won here. As a side note, I still have the chance to return any of these items, so let me know what love and what you don't!

So clearly I'm not a model or a photographer (you'll see evidence of that soon), but I did try on these outfits so you can get an idea of how they look on. I find it SO much easier to photograph objects rather than people. Personally, I love it when I read blogs/watch videos on hauls and the person tries on the items.. it just really gives you a good sense of whether or not you'd like to see it on yourself. I just took a whole load of shots and chose the ones that looked less ridiculous. Oh.. and in this post, I don't have any make up on (plus I just got back from the gym and picking blueberries in 93 degree heat so considering the sweaty circumstances, I don't think I look too bad). Anyway, I'll leave links to everything I can, and if you have any questions/comments please do let me know.

Blush cable knit crop top: I really like how this crop top is longer as I'm not typically a crop top style person. Also, the gold zipper in the back goes so well with the textured blush pattern and the high neck of the top itself. It didn't cost much, yet it looks so classic and beautiful. Win win.

Wide-Leg Pants: I'm already hooked on these white pants. They have an elastic waist band which makes them super comfortable to wear, AND since they're white, they pretty much go with anything and everything. On thing I will say is they're pretty see through so make sure you choose your underwear accordingly.

Fancy Rib Tank: I love how this thank is a dark blush shade and features a high neck, halter style. It looks amazing on, but I can't quite decide what bottoms to wear with it as it's a more fitted top. Let me know what suggestions you have!

ASOS swing tank with drape: I love how floaty feeling this top is and also the fact that it's blush toned of course. I quite like it tucked in best as it's sorta an oversized tank. I'm wearing this tank here with some smart trousers, which I feel makes the top itself look smart as well. Perfect for so many things, but it also would look gorge with shorts to give it more of a summery vibe.

Peg Pants: Basically, it was right time I got some high waisted black pants that aren't jeans. I just feel like a pair of pants like this can instantly make your top look dressy as well. The high waist and skinny ankle pair so so well together. And as they as, black goes with anything.

Cropped Striped Turtleneck tank: Okay so as I'm putting this post together, I see a trend of high neck tops. This top is so so so comfortable and of course anything striped goes with ANYTHING. As I've said, I'm not a big crop top person, but I do like how the high waisted pants complement this top and make it look more dressy. I feel like a long black cardigan would look so cute with it.

Cotton V-Neck Tee: Talk about a super cheap tee! BUT it look surprisingly nice on (or so I think). The v-neck really makes my small chest look much bigger which, I won't lie, is one of my favorite features of this shirt. To be fair, I haven't washed it yet, so I'll have to see how it does in the washer, but I really like how simple this tee is and how you can wear it with ANYTHING... literally anything.

Destroyed Skinny Jeans (similar): I got these jeans a while back actually, but I haven't talked about them yet and I'm not too sure why. They're the perfect jeans for summer as they have plenty of rips which makes them look so so cute. I'm usually not one for severely destroyed jeans, so I felt like these are pushing the edgy limit for me but at the same time they're not too edgy.

Pull&Bear Palm Spring Bomber: So I'm not too sure how this bomber jacket suits me. I really love the idea of a bomber and this one looks so sick, but I'm not sure that I wear it too well. This one might have to go back... Let me know what you think though! I might have to try out a blush pink bomber and see if that suits me any better. HOWEVER, I love how it's black and says "PALM BEACH" and makes you feel like a total badass even though I've got a whole cute/pink vibe going on here. AND it's super warm which would fair really well in the cooler months.

Please let me know what looks are your favorite! As I've said, I still have time to send any of this back, so opinions would be lovey! Thanks so much if you read this, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

xx Becca
